I have worked with animals since I was a child, volunteering at local animal shelters and caring for multitudes of rescued pets at home. I earned my AAS degree and my veterinary technician license in 1999. Prior to that I completed specific behavioral study courses and became a canine educator and taught family dog obedience for 5 years. In 2003, I received superior achievement for successful completion of a course in Canine Massage from Integrated Touch Therapy, Inc. in Circleville, Ohio. I competed and helped instruct in dog agility for 4 years with a beautiful rescued mixed breed and a border collie. I am currently enrolled in the Canine Rehabilitation Program through the Universtiy of Tennessee, working toward specialty certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. My husband and I share our home with our two daughters, our own precious kitties, 3 dogs and any number of animals we happen to be fostering for our local rescue group. Over the past five years I have fostered and successfully placed over 200 rescued puppies and dogs, as well as dozens of cats. I strive to continue to use my education and love for animals to improve the quality of life for each and every animal I help to care for. I am now the owner/operator of Pawformance Pet Services in Allentown, PA.
